I know publishing is full of buy-more ploys, and that it's not just LKH. It just sickens me how she's using comics as her new little toy, because comics get very little respect as is; they don't need those craptastic "posters" dragging them down further into the mud.

( Anyway, while going through the comic catalogue to make my monthly order, I was faced with yet more signs of LKH's shameless marketing )

So... I read Strange Candy. And it wasn't all bad. Some of the stories were silly or forgettable, but there are a few that I really enjoyed. I thought I'd give a quick rundown of each one - no flogging, just a general overview for those who are yet to venture into these waters :)

I received the more-or-less quarterly joy that is the newsletter today. It actually wasn't as wanky as normal, but maybe that's because huge chunks were basically advertisements for stuff to do/buy/order/worship/etc.
